Reducing Depression

Sometimes a person feels like a black cloud is hanging over him or her. At other times a person may feel engulfed by a black cloud. Some persons become depressed in reaction to life events. Some depressions are episodic while others seem to never end. Whatever the duration, severity or trigger of the depression, talking about what is bothering you can help. Counseling helps persons see different perspectives and identify options for their lives to alleviate their depression.

And feeling sad isn’t the only symptom that signals “depression.” Fatigue, lack of concentration and irritability are other frequently reported symptoms of depression.
